Create Value for Every Warehouse and Factory

Project Background

Driven by food security imperatives and consumption upgrading trends, grain and oil enterprises are confronting challenges in capacity expansion, cost control, and green development. Traditional warehousing reliant on manual forklift operations and paper-based documentation struggles to adapt to e-commerce channel explosions, fragmented orders, and SKU proliferation. Following business expansion, Shandong Tianbang Grain & Oil identified critical pain points: excessive labor dependency (65% of operational costs), inefficient inbound/outbound operations (packaging material waste exceeding 5%), high management costs (inventory loss over 5% with 8% stock discrepancy rate), and inflexible operations. To address these, the company partnered to develop an intelligent warehousing logistics system, achieving comprehensive upgrades in storage, material handling, and management.

Project Features

  • Three-zone integrated operation with 6 stacker cranes; Storage capacity: 16,000 pallets

  • Dual-engine control (WMS + WCS) with AI vision monitoring

  • Intelligent automation for four operational scenarios; Fully closed-loop data management

  • 400% efficiency improvement; Peak throughput: 150 pallets/hour

Solution

A coordinated "hardware + software" solution was implemented:

Hardware: Production line conveying area, pre-warehouse transfer zone, and automated storage area equipped with 6 double-deep stacker cranes (16,000-pallet total capacity), dual-station RGVs, automatic stretch wrappers, and 3D vision inspection systems, enabling 150-pallet/hour peak flow.

Software: The WMS+WCS core dynamically allocates storage locations, interfaces with ERP for high-frequency SKU pre-scheduling, and employs AI vision with digital twin technology for 3D visual equipment monitoring, establishing intelligent closed-loop control from goods receipt to data reconciliation.
